With translation

har chand ke man dar nazar-e khalq nizaaram
sad shukr ke dar aalam-e tahqiq nazaaram

In the eyes of people I am only a person by the name of Nizar, but in reality I am the one who sees everything in the world of reality.

gar pastamu gar raai haqiraam na chunaanam
kaz raah-e jalali-e nasab akbar ze kibaaram

I may look short and weak but it’s not the case, due to piety of my family, I excel over all the pious ones.

dar mansab-e farmaan dehi-u jaahu najaabat
baa aanke bitabl-u ilm-u izz-u wiqaaram

Due to hegemonic excellence, and great breed, I am the lord of grandeur, respect and impressiveness.

taa nist sadaf qaabil-e dur qatrah narizam
taa nist chaman laa'iq-e gul rashah nabaaram

Unless the oyster is ready for the pearl, I do not cause a drop; unless the garden is worthy of a flower, I do not provide it with moisture.

bisiyaar qabih hast ze khud guftam ammaa
laazim shuda guyam ze chi nakhlam ze chi baaram

Though its improper to praise yourself, its necessary that I express what tree(family) and fruit I belong to.

bingar ke kiyam az chi maqaamam ze chi jaayam
bishnov ze chi naslam ze chi aslam ze chi kaaram

Look who am I! What’s my status, my place! Listen to which progeny I belong to? What’s my foundation & purpose.

chun chashm-e shinaasandagi-e khalq zarirast
az martab-e khud du say tamsil biyaaram

Since creatures’ eyes cannot recognize my status; therefore, I am giving two or three examples about me.

man taa'ir qudsam qafas-e jism nekhwaaham
man gauhar-e paakam ba gil-e tira chi kaaram

I am the bird of the most Holy world, I don’t need the jail of this body, I am pure jewel, I don’t desire this worthless dirt.

ham dar safaram hamraah-u ham dar hazaram dust
ham duram-u baahama dar qurs-u jawaaram

People with their physical eyes see nothing except my body; I am the soul which is seen by one in thousands.

dar mahfil-e arbaab-e karam sadr nishinam
dar qaafila-e ahl-e sakmaa pish qataaram

Jewel doesn’t mean physical mass or grossness, I am a real Jewel, therefore physically seem small.

har kas ke ba man yaar buwat azrah-e ikhlaas
man baa hamagi mushfiqam-u baa hama yaaram

Physical structure cannot be a symbol of superiority; if you want to know about my excellence then I’ll show you.

baa aanke rahi jaanib-e man baasmadash az sidq
lutf-u karam-u mehr nikuist shu'aaram

Adam was also chaste of a gentle and soft soul, but an average body, I am also Adam not a sycamore tree or a minaret.

na dil ba khuraasan-u iraaq ast-u na hindam
jaayam hama jaa'ist-u chi mulk-u chi diyaaram

I hate non beneficial talk, I don’t sow seeds of rubbish talk in my chest.

har jaa ke watan saazam bashad watan aanjaa
har jaa ke qaraar az dil aanjast qaraaram

I appear to be a drop, but in reality I am both the encompassing ocean and the source of vision

aanhaa ke tawanand ke bi man guzaraanand
gu khush guzaraanid ke man kaar nadaaram

This glorious earth and sky are busy to fulfill my Purpose, I am the center of actuality and I am it's orbit.

muhtaaj kasi nistam az fazl-e ilaahi
zaan ru buwad az minnat har nashudah aaram

If I do not provide an eye with vision, it will be devoid of vision; I am the vision of eyes and I am like both the light and fire (source of light)

imruz baman pai nabrarad aaqil-u fardaa
sajjaada'i umid kunat lawh-e mazaaram

My origin is linked with Lord of lights, who’s branches are both worlds. Wonderful creation I am and I am the creator

chashm-i ke kasaan raast bajuz jism nasinad
man jaanam-u dar chashm-e kasaan yak ze hazaaram

Whoever remembers me, I am always with him at home or on a journey.

matlab ze jawaahir na buzurgi-u rasaa'ist
man jawhar-e aslam ke azaan ruu'yi signaaram

I sit on the Chancellor’s seat at the council of champions, and in the
Caravan of Generosity, I’m the leader.

aasaar-e buzurgi nabuwad he'at-e jismi
khwaahi binumaayam ze buzurgi ke chi daaram

He who walks by my side sincerely, I am also with him with all my kindness and with all my support.

aadam wasad-ul qad sabuk ruh-u nikutar
man aadamam ammaa na chinaaram-u na manaaram

Those who, wholeheartedly travel towards me, to them kindness, generosity, mercy and good deeds are my acts.

az guftan-e bi faa'ida bisyaar nufuram
tukhm-e sukhan-e bihuda dar sina nakaaram

My heart is neither in Iraq nor in Khurasan(Greater Iran), nor in Hindustan because all places are mine, all countries are mine.

gar qatrah sifat dar nazar aayam ba haqiqat
ham bahr-e muhitam man-u ham ain-e aiyaanam

Wherever I live, would be my county. Wherever my heart would like to dwell, will be my place.

ham arz-u samaawat-e jalaalist bakaamam
ham markaz-e aslam man-u ham ain-e madaaram

Those who spend their lives (without my guidance), tell them, tell them to spend their time, I have no concern with them.

nuri nabuwat dar nazar ar man nadiham nur
ham ain-e uyunam man-u ham nuram-u naaram

With the grace of Almighty, I am not dependent on anyone, that’s why I feel ashamed in taking favors from the weak.

aslam ze mutaa ast ke far'ash du jahaan ast
ajuba san'am man-u ham saani' kaaram

While I am present, the people with wisdom and intellect do not take advantage of my presence, and once I leave this world they make my tomb a sanctuary for the fulfillment of their wishes"

Khatam sukhan aula ist Nizar-I hama hif ast
ta chand kunam naghma na tuti na hazaram*

Nizar its better to finish the talk here, it’s the stage of Alast that I am singing here, though I’m neither a parrot nor bulbul.
