Niyaz in a bottle (Toronto)
Niyaz in a bottle (Toronto)
For those of you who are unaware, due to outbreak of SARS in Toronto area and with an approval of MHI all Jamat Khana's in TO will be serving Niyaz in disposable plastic bottles until further notice to prevent anymore outbursts
Well I don't leave in Toronto and I am happy about it
You are so lucky to get a Talika of Hazar Imam on Sars's relation to Nyaz. What does it say exactely?
Does the Talika also say to check each nandi to make sure it has not been infected?
It looks like the dirtiest and most germs-prone thing is paper money... if you leave in Hong Kong, China or Toronto, I beg you be prudent and do not touch any bank notes... we knew money was evil but now we also know it transports germs...

Bottled Niyadj
I was very disturbed when the bottled niyadj issue was hot some time ago.
Just recently I realised that for the past 30 years that I have witnessed it, after Deedar Niyadj made by MHI is given to the jamat and guess how it is given .
It is either a plastic or glass bottle. This has become a tradition (almost) after every Deedar or Darbar.
In conclusion, what happened in Canada was the first of its kind but not something that is too far from our current tradition stated above.
Thoughts and opinions invited .
