"Zikr e Ali" (Devotional Song) - Laila Koradia & Taufiq Karmali

Post by kmaherali »

Video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLBCtYKMjU4

Zikr e Ali
Remembrance of Ali

Laila Koradia and Taufiq Karmali present "Zikr e Ali", a beautiful and heart touching devotional song to mark the month of Ramadan and Laylat al-Qadr.

Laylat al-Qadr (The Night of Power) in Islam, is the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Muslims regard the last ten nights of Ramadan as being especially blessed. Muslims believe that the Night of Qadr comes with blessings and mercy of God in abundance, sins are forgiven, supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who carry it out according to God's Grace.

Laila Koradia and Taufiq Karmali pray for peace and blessings for the Jamat, the Ummah and the world as a whole during this very special time of the year.

"99 Names Of Allah" - Ilyas Mao (A Cappella)

Post by kmaherali »

Video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zd0vbi9ynEM

99 Names Of Allah
Asmāʾu llāhi l-Husnā

Ilyas Mao presents a graceful a cappella (vocals only, without instrumental accompaniment) rendition of "99 Names of Allah".

Names of God in Islam (Asmāʾu llāhi l-Husnā - "Allah's Beautiful Names") are names attributed to God in Islam by Muslims. While some names are only in the Quran, and others are only in the hadith, there are some names which appear in both.

Ilyas Mao is an artist, a capella singer, songwriter, composer, and producer. The talented artist is able to combine the structure, composition and rhythmic balance of a harmonic scale, giving him the ability to create multiple songs using only his voice. The topics of his inspirational and uplifting songs range from social justice, family values, spiritual guidance and self-exploration.

This video has been meticulously produced by "MercifulAyat", to whom we are deeply grateful.
