This we all know it is a process of spirituality.
I am trying to make it's understanding easier with below couplet.
anda message after it:
the people who came before Koran were called "People of the book",many of them are ignorant about Islam even today.
Ahle kitabo ke liye hai Alla musalman tuhi( as Agakhan) ignorance.
Shariato ka Khalif tuhi(as khalifa Hazrat ALI) common sense
Tariqato ka Imam tuhI(as moula ALI,seen n hidden) rational sense
Haqitato ka Imaan tuhi(Imam as GOD,nothing less)intelligent.
Marfat me sirf tuhi tuhi,which is Asal mubarak me wasal,Gnosis
I have defined it two times in earlier postings.
Asal mubarak is a blessing to LIVE for and not die for it.
Imaan is our tariqa is directly co-related to Intelligence.
It is two sides of same coin
Intelligence is also broken into 7 levels with Rasulillah(PBUH) at 7th intellect level.
I start with an example of WATER.
A child of 4 years old information about water is that,he drinks water,he plays in it,his mother washes clothes with water.etc.this is common sense.
Now a student of middle grade,say that water is H2O,it is Ice at x degrees and steam at y degrees.Basic uses of water.etc.this is rational sense.
then are are many proven Thesis on Water by Sciencetist on hydrology,
fuel cells,heavy water,etc etc.this is the intelligent understanding of water.
when a Sufi is told to define water,he says Pani zindagani hai(water is life).in his poem he says that human body is 70% made of water,God has blessed earth with water for its soil,plants,animals n humans as they cannot live without water.
I drink water with blessings from him,so my body and whole day is blessed. here he defines the spirituality of water beautifully,which is meta physic,not proven by science. this is gnosis
Each tell about as much they know about water.
Each consider each other ignorant,disbelieving or kaffir.
Our's is a faith one of Sufism.

"The (real) believer is one who from the Shariat arrives at tariqat, and from the latter to haqiqat, which is the real inner meaning of Shariat. Shariat may be compared to a candle, tariqat to the path, and haqiqat to the destination. One must strive to walk along the correct path, lit by the candle, and reach the abode of haqiqat. The foundation of haqiqat is to recognize the Imam. The purpose of everything is its inner meaning, which forms its (real) substance, its essence and sweetness. Therefore, the ultimate purpose of Shariat introduced by the Prophet was its inner meaning which is haqiqat, i.e., the recognition of the Imam of the time."
"The (real) believer is one whose words (iqrar wa qawl) are unshakable and true (haqq), whose thoughts of the heart are true, whose promise, whose love and affection are true. From head to foot that slave of God must be sincere and true (haqq). He must be sweet-worded and mild, his soul (ruh) must be sincere. He must be continually preoccupied with the remembrance of God (dhikr), always remaining in meditation (bandagi) and dhikr and praise of God, lauding and recognising God the All-High (Shinakht-i Haqq ta'ala). His actions must be pious, his behaviour proper. He must carry out the commandments and injunctions of his Lord (Khudawand) and pir. He must keep on his tongue the mention of Five Holy Persons (Panj Tan), mentioning and glorifying God with great affection. He recognizes his Master (Aqa), the Supreme Lord (Sahibu'l-amr), the Imam of the time, follows his path, always remaining obedient and listful (attentive) to him, delivering himself, his affairs, and everything that he possesses to that Lord (Mowla) who is the Imam of the time, and the Lord of the world and of all who inhabit it."

Even though you have asked this question to Karimbhai and I have lots of respects towards him so basically if he answer then his answer will be more reliable then mine, but if you had ever asked this question openly in this forum then my answer would had been; just read " "PANDIYAT- E-JAWAMARDI" and read 'Super man in Islam" in these two book you will find many hidayats, phylosphical advises and ruhaniyats written and spoken by our imams but you have to have read these books deply and throughly, FYI these books are available in many languages. I am pretty sure that you will receive your answer.

If a patient asks a simple question to a doctor,he/she does gives the answer NOT evade it and suggest to patient to refer to medical science book no 3, 12 and 18 to know the answer.
I do not have the books nor I am a heavy reader.

I don't see why there is a need to always criticize and be on the defensive. This is not the purpose of this Forum. The purpose is share whatever interesting or important information you have and from what others post, take what is of interest to you and leave the remaining. Why always try to downgrade?

The Imam says that the Shariat is the candle advices to walk along the correct path lit by the candle. In my opinion this would mean that one must follow the path illumined by the guidance of the Imam.nuseri wrote:To Kmaherali:

At dawn,it is hardly 1-2% of light outside and it is one millionth of a light
given in broad sun light.
Dawn is Tariqat path, which is self lighted,candle may not be need then on. full light can be haqiqat ,where no candle is needed.It is catalyst to
see the path(koran,qasida,hadees,ginans).
Tariqat path is lighted by Imam,(bolti quran,FARMANS).
This defination of relative value of Shariat by one Imam and it's order is openly said in a Clarion call by Imam Aliahzikr Salam.Is says about its importance
Shariat is like a starter of a car going for long journey in which starter is used for 4 seconds and it then engine which powers the car.
It can be like a single dimension gate of size say 8 ft x 4 ft of a mansion
of 500 acres(tariqat) with multi dimension floor of 2 stories ( haqiqat n marfat).
We Ismailis are blessed souls as are born as spiritual children from Birth inside the gate (as Tariqati).so the Shariat is behind us.
I am personally deeply convinced out Tariqa path is lighted,so the need of candle light "MAY BE" not much needed.
Today in 70% of the world population identifies a Adamant Shariati
something with Beard,Burqa and blast somewhere.It is a grim realty of today.
