Do what's right, said the friend with a nod and a smile
Not do what's you desire
nor succumb to the pull of Impulse

Did he say that it was an obstacle-less road
nay it is full of thorns and rocks
courage must arise of the bloodied heart
and wisdom of the hidden soul
Do it right, told the love of a thousand gold friendships

Tears arise and mind is full
yet suddenly at peace when all is still
comforted by the embrace of nothingness
No black, no white, nor colour

There is wisdom behind the infinite void
And life concealed in the silence of chatter
For it is there, where lies the eternal soul
And the soul, which will guide you on your journey
Your path once indiscernible, yet now clear

Listen to your reason, it the gift of your Lord
The soul's counsel whispers, quiet now, and hear her voice
As the pond ripples sing their own melody
For you shall be in peace.
