Taking into cosiderations, todays situation (economical and political), I thought out this poem titled as 'Dragon of poverty'. What is going on; on economical front is not right. Rising Gas Oil prices, ringing alarm bells. To arrest the situation we have to take drastic measures; before it goes out of control.
Intellectuals must play their role; and must suggest some solution so that at it can be discussed on various international forums. But I don't see anything other than plain talks. This will not work, instead; this laziness of ours will make situation worse.
Cost of living in thirld world countries rising on alarming level. Common products of daily use are out of reach of common men. There are some incidents of suicides in those countries because prices of those necessary items of daily use; are gone sky high.
Very sincere; and serious efforts are required to be done with no politics of any kind involve in it; with simple mathmatical calculations.
Dragon of poverty
Fruits of wealth generation are not reaching to a grass root level
Elites are in space shuttle; common man has no means to travel
Ghost of poverty is everywhere; threads of humanity to unravel
In developing countries cost of living gone up to suicidal level
It made difficult to survive for common man to a respectable level
Devil of cost of living hitting hard everywhere; creating upheaval
Introduce drastic measures; to bring it to an acceptable level
Otherwise create a chaos; to cover up will not find a towel
Need to take corrective measures with futuristic strategy; novel
Governments help won’t be enough; riches have to pay share equal
Otherwise uncontrolled poverty will be a big cause of upheaval
Donor Agencies have to put aside theory of investment; just invest principle
Difficult time is ahead; prior to that plan wisely to control the devil
Don’t want to suffer due lack of planning; don’t take it business usual
There is enough advance warning; build the bridge before water cross storm level
Signs of reduction in agriculture products; is reaching alarming level
Poverty is curse; have to root it out from world map
Riches have to come forward; to fill in the wide gap
Governments alone can’t do it; contemplate; don’t wait
Prior it becomes Dragon of poverty; starts using us as bait!
