Benefit of Deedar when used based on social status

Post by nomi786 »

Ya Ali Madad,

I know the title is vague. Let me explain you.
I have seen so many people from my jamaat (U.S) went to Hyderabad for deedar and the same people attended deedar in Canada and dubai. Hence they attend every deedar Imam blesses.

My understanding is other than the people from the region (India), the outsiders should restrain themselves from attending every deedar rather i think it would be much more beneficial and blessing worthy if they could just donate the expenses towards an AKDN charity.

The exceptions obviously are if one didn't had a chance to have Imam's deedar for long time.

To gain Imam's happiness we should love Imam
but to gain Imam's love we should love His spiritual children

Ya Ali Madaad,

It depends on how people take thing. Imam has said not to follow him but to follow his words. We should also not forgets that Imam selects us we don’t select Imam. At the same time Mowlana Hazar Imam Blessed overseas Murids during Dedaar.

I live in Europe and Europeans normally spend 5 weeks (maximum) vacation every yr. if someone spend one week on Jamat activates or visit other Jamat or go to see Imam I don’t think it is wastage of money.

I agree with you that the money spend on visiting various places may be given to charity. Murids visiting Dubai, Canada and Hyderabad might have learned about different culture and have a better understand of Faith. For Hyderabad point of view, they were traffic jams, problems with Hotel and many other problems, at the same time Hyderabadies has experience Ismailies. No one in Hyderabad had Knowledge of Ismailis except Ismailies and the one who had knowledge about us had wrong perceptions about our community, By Imam Visit and other activates that took place there was exchange of tradition, culture and everyone got a chance to unity.

We all spend our vacation by relaxing but when you get to experience all this just for 1000Euro plus and Dedaar of Imam what one need. AKDN had never problems with funds but we have problems in understanding ourselves and by sending time on Jamat activates and meeting other Jamat will help us to better understand ourselves which will lead to better understand of our Faith.

Lets agree that to "follow" the Imam or not is a personnal choice.

There is a tremendous benefit in having in these gatherings Ismailis from all over the world who exchanges ideas, information and becomes friends, family sometimes even business partner.

The brotherhood created in these event has great value and so has the logistic and organisational skills that are developped at that time.

listen, i can understand where all u come from.
i will just say this that maula has said that even if u see someone
doing wrong, u still dont have the right to judge him or her bc that belongs
to maula, so if someone wants to come to every didar or not or to donate
is between that individual and maula and what u do is between u and maula
