Ibaadat vs.Bandagi
Could someone please provide me with the difference between Ibaadat and Bandagi. What is the meaning of Baitul Khyal? Is it just meditating?
"Baitul Khyal" means the house of thoughts. One enteres this house of thoughts as I goes deeper and deeper in his/her meditation or "Bandagi". The ultimate purpose of doing bandagi is come closer to the supreme being.
"Ibadaat" on the other hand could take the shape of any voluntary activity that is devoted towards serving GOD or humanity. For example helping a destitute could be considered as Ibadat or any kind of voluntary service could be considered as Ibadat, or just the act of going to JK with the intention of praying and the asking for the forgivness of one's sin could be considered as Ibadat, or any charitbale donation with the righ intention could be considered as Ibadat.
