Thank you for the links. Stem cell science is a subject of great importance today. MHI refers to it when he discusses issues about interpretation of faith and modernity. As a matter of fact he mentioned it in his message to the recently held Islamic Conference in Amman Jordan as a subject that would require consensus on its ethics.

On the question that you have raised, yes the clones would have a soul just like any other form of creation. As mentioned by Dr. Dixon, clones are no different than identical twins born concurrently (at the same time). Hence they would have a soul which would be different than the soul of their respective cloned ones...though they would share common traits and personalities.

Hello razinizar,

The first two websites are nice, but i must ask you that when you search for articles or any information, make sure these sources are reliable. For example: www.humorgazette.com/clones_1201.htm is NOT a reliable source as you should be able to tell by the name of the website. These people come out with articles that are funny, but do not exists. If you still did not pick this up here is another clue from the website. The name of the doctor: Dr. Gene Meddler--it is a made up name, gene describing genetics, and meddler, one who tampers with things, also the father of Genetics is Dr. Mendell so the writer was trying to be funny with the doctor's name in the article.
