The word Natiq means 'Proclaimer' or 'Speaker'.
It is a title given to the Six Great Prophets - Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad who were responsible for proclaiming a religious Law (Shariah).

The word Asas means 'Foundation'. It refers to the Imam who was contemporary with each of the Natiqs and served as their Wasi (executor) and helper (nasir). The six Asases have traditionally been understood to be Seth, Shem, Ishmael, Aaron, Shamun, and Ali.

Arif means "knower". In the context of the Din, Arif is someone who has attained Irfan or Marifat (Gnosis) - he has become fana in the Gnosis or Noor of Allah.
