Why not ismaili channel?

Post by Aly_shallwani »

Internet is also a type of media wider than the television than why there is no ismaili channel till now?<BR>and is it possible to run a channel from Dubai where their is no government interference <BR>because i have seen that majority of our ismaili women & also men are almost addicted<BR>of indian dramas in Pakistan and our islamic culture has just started disappearing from <BR>our country which is so called islamic society.And Indians have succeeded to apply their relegious <BR>traditions o&shy;n us..so why not a ismaili channel ...like their is QTV totally quranic based channel!&nbsp; <BR>

Ya Ali Madad,

The Ismailis and Muslims lives in India more then they live in Pakistan and mostly Pakistanis are attracted towards Indian and Indian towards Pakistan because of common cultural values. If we say a muslim there isnt any particular style of a muslim. A muslim living in Bangledesh,Saudi Arabia, Malaysia,Afghanistan and Pakistan..all have different diressings, way of living though same religion. Just you gave example of QTV you can have example of Indian tv serials and look difference..Why there is preference to Indian is because their way of prerentation..People will take least interest if they are showing molvi giving lecture all time or political leaders debating on certain issues..this can be in radio so there is not I think such a need to show such in television..

i completly disagree about ismaili channel bcoz
NoBody is going to UnderStand Ismaili Faith Except a One who has a wider Mentality bcoz Ismaili is Totally based on Concept of Spritulizim
Generally Muslim Who are Whether Sunni/Shia always ready to Compare other religion with them
Like They Always think like
SUNI do this and if ISMAILI Doesn't do like SUNNI then they are Kafirs..
doesn't really go beyond this comparions
These are the mentalities.. they always try to compare everyone else with them .. In Computer Code word they are simply bots
they always have the same conditions like

IF Other Religion != SUNI or SHIA then
{
Print "Kafir"
}
else
{
Print "Muslim"
}

it doesn't mean that i m saying them WRONG.. but they always take every thing physically rather spritually .. i m talking in General about the mentalities .. not everyone like this ...
So thats y .. It will not be a good idea to EXPOSE ISMaili Religion in TV channels

Correct if I m Wrong . but This is my Own thinking

India is actually a secular country.
There are many popular actors and actresses who are muslim and are working in Indian television and film industry.
Some of the most popular bollywood actors are Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Diya Mirza etc
Similary in Indian Television there are so many muslim actors and actresses who are famous world wide like Shama Sikender, Aamna Sharif, Nausheen Ali sardar Ali, Hussain Kuwajerwala, Ejaz Khan, Cezzane Khan, Farida Jalal etc etc
There is also many rumours about certain actors to be ismailis.
Indian Media not mainly focus on hinduism and hindu culture instead it focusses on Indian Culture which is culture of Indian hindus, muslims,Christians etc
A Famous actress Preity Zinta said,”We live in complete harmony out here I’ve worked with Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan believe me not once I have felt that they are muslims or that Hrithik Roshan, Sunny Deol or Bobby Deol are hindus…..God is every where inside us and outside us.”
An interesting quote of Hrithik,” When I see true love in any relationship I believe there is God selfless, complete undertanding unconditional love which does exist by the way this kind of love makes me believe that there is some thing higher then what our minds are capable of understanding. They say do you have to to see it to believe it or will you believe enough to see it. You have to believe it to see it.”

It is in history that with the arrival of muslims in South Asia there were many many changes. Neither hindus nor muslims lost their values but instead hindus learned a lot from muslims and muslims learned a lot from hindus and thus a new culture evloved.
