Have you ever thought that all knowing Devine person does not know where he was and had to ask missonary which station it was.!!!
And not telling nothing but truth in court and under oath is punishable purgery! Is it not?
This is just my observation, i do not need another "Taqiya" explaination.
Salaam
In a normal conversation of a father and son, it is not uncommon to have a father ask his son of an object he knows about. A father may ask the son what the object is although he may know it. Sometimes it just adds spice to the conversation.
The court is not the domain of absolute truth and justice. The truth of a matter is determined by the strength of zaheri evidence. People can get away with murder. Do you think a batini truth such as 'So and so is God' can be proven in the court? Especially when significant segment of the population don't even believe in God? When Mansur Al-Hallaj claimed he was the truth, he was sentenced to death by the ignorant Qadis! There was no way he could have proven his point to the legal system of his time.
It would be interesting to note what happened when the 48th Imam was asked to provide proof that he was the direct descendent of the Prophet at:
Haji Bibi Case Incident.
