1937, February 7: Mowlana Sultan Muhammad Shah and Mata Salamat attended a garden party in Zanzibar. The party was hosted by Count Ghulam Hussain Jindani (1891-1983) at the Aga Khan Club. Amongst the distinguished persons, the ruler of Zanzibar, Sultan Sayed Khalifa bin Harun and the Resident Governor Sir Richard Renkins. The Imam introduced Mukhi Alidina to them and said, “Look at my young devotee. How healthy he is at such an advanced age? He has served my father, grandfather and grandmother.”

It is an interesting anecdote. I wonder though how does it relate to rebirth? Mukhi Alidina was an old man who had served 3 generations of Imams but looked young.
