what you guys say if our faith accepts or deny the theory that human beings have appeared by passing through a series of evolutionary stages of lower animals.Being a biologist i know many evidences that supports this theory but i am still in a big confusion about what our ismaili faith says about this.a couple of weeks ago i heard a waaz of rai abu ali in which he said that das avtar is nothing else but the the theory of evolution.

I think life certainly existed prior to Adam; however, human in human form started with Adam.
