Shah jo didaar

What is the religious significance of Shah jo didar which we exchange after the sixth duaa. Does it refer to Zahiri didaar, batni didaar or Noorani didaar. What is baatni and Noorani didaar? What is its historical roots and was it practised in neo-ISlamic days. ? Enlighten me

It does not refer to any specified mode of Deedar. It can be any.
