What is 'ARMAGEDDON'? Does God destroy earth at Armageddon?

What is Armageddon? Does it has any kind connection with 'ZAHURAT'?

Armageddon, or some time rendered as "Harmagedon" is the name of a place where the war will be take place. it is a original Hebrew word means "Mountain of Megiddo" .The real significance of Megiddo is the place where the battle/war will be take place.The bible also says that in the future when Satan and his human puppets attack God's peoples , Jehovah will again step in and meet force with force and he will destroy the wicked.THIS FIGHT WILL BE RELIGIOUS FIGHT YOU CAN NAME IT 'ZAHURAT' IF YOU WANT TO.

Many religious people believe that there will be a final confrontation between good and evil that will result in the end of earth , so basically in Armageddon battle or war many peoples will be killed, many building will be destroyed, and peace will be reestablished on earth.
In short armageddon does have some connection with 'ZAHURAT' THAT IS FOR SURE.

Thanks Mr-forget for your comments on Armageddon.
One thing is true that almost every religion claims that there will be a fight between good and devil forces in near future, Shia call it 'ZAHURAT' and they believe that Imam Mehdi will come back on earth, same way Christian and Jews believes that Jesus will come back, Buddhist believe that Buddha will be come back and Hindu believe that their 10 avatar 'Naklanki' will come back and he will fight with devil forces and reestablish peace on earth.
Whoever come back but the war between good and devil will be take place, there is no doubt about that.

Our ginans are fulls about this future event, we Ismaili believe that our Imam will be fight with devil forces. Thanks for quoting bible's saying on this event and believe me I surprised to see that this event also written in Bible too. Thanks again.

Mr- forget ,
Don't forget that there are many ginans of our pirs on this subject of Daint Kalinga, specially Pir Shams, Pir Sadardin, Pir Hasan Kabirdin and Syed Imam Shah has wrote many ginans on this subjects , this is not it but other pirs and Syedes also wrote many ginans, so it is very hard to put all these ginans in this website, look like you have forgetting problem
