I said most sunnis and not all sunnis...there's a difference....but anyways my business partner is a sunni from pakistan who was a hardcore sunni and anti ismaili but then as time passed on he learned that ismailism is as unique as his faith is.
And you do know that I dont treat imam's = allah, well then why should I ? Because god as you said can only be experienced and not seen right ??.....But I agree to disagree with you because god can come in any shape or size and need not necessarily be trapped in one's body ...but that is my opinion !!
And then he started to learn what exactly is ismailism because as per him ladies walking near garden jk in karachi wearing all bling bling was ismailism....but later he started to adopt to the knowledge that ismailism is not anti islam its just that their way of understanding god and sharia is different than his .....Now what is he gonna do?? Fight me because my thinking is slightly different than his or just move along....he chose the later !

You still failed to answer the question. Let me ask again. What's your innovative approach? does it work?
viru, from all your posts I can sense that you are trying so hard to pretend that you are an ismaili, but yet you fail to believe the fundamental concept of imamia in general. In most of your posts, you simply contradict the fundamental belief of ismaili, which is Imam. You speak mostly like one of our sunni brothers. If a sunni brother has commented the same way as you do, about our beloved Hazir Imam, I would take off my hat, and would gain my ultimate respect; however, if an ismaili refers to my Imam as simply agakhan or sharukh khan, I (or any ismaili)would simply think you aren't even one.

Even our beloved Imam says that! I don't even understand why do you have to say that? What I believe about my Imam, is absolutly personal to me, and I don't need to express to anyone; and I suggest you do the same, evenif you see our beloved Imam as agakhan. My 2 cents.

I understand that God can only be experienced. I would like to know if God can see us or if He can only experience us as "seeing" is a very physical concept linked to the human eye

Nice way to look at it.
... but I would say; it's only our limitations not God's that we can only experience. Remember, God simply has to say BE, and there you have it! He's not bound with the same limitations as us men. For He knows exactly who we are and what we think. We can forget about 'seeing'.
