Can Mukhi Saheb take 'BOL" for entire jamats?

Post by agakhani »

Admin,
As per your instruction I brought this post in this section and deleted this post from Padhramani, Mulakat section.

Kbhai,
You asked, 'who has suggested or where it mentioned that the procedure of granting bol has changed'?
No, it is not changed yet and it should not be change, but after reading one post above this question arise in my mind about the bol and that is why I asked it for more clarification, you may notice that I put question mark after my this question., actually this question was born in my mind after reading following sentences:-

Code: Select all

Some key things to note are: individual and family mehmani will be done symbolically by the Mukhisaheb instead of having each family member go up to Hazar Imam;
So, obviously it was my question, nothing has been changed yet as far as BOL is concern and it should not be change like family Mehmani ceremony has changed specially in this visit ( i.e. Mukhi Saheb will take all individuals mehamanis instead of each family) But if Mowla bapa decide to do same process for bol same like individuals mehamani then he can do that but....
Do you think Mukhi/Kamadia Saheban can take 'BOL" for entire jamats? BOL IS A DIRECT CONNECTION BETWEEN MURSHID AND MURID AND THEREFORE NO ONE ELSE SHOULD BE INVOLVED IN BOL PROCEDURE, this is my thinking, what you thinking?.

In the past Prince Alykhan used to give Bol on behalf of the Imam, he performed other religious work on behalf of the Imam as well. So theoretically it is possible for the Imam to convey the Bol through a Mukhi so long as he informs the Jamat about it so that that anyone cannot claim the authority to perform that work.

It is ultimately the Imam's prerogative to choose the manner of conveying the Bol.

Supreme Names of God:
God says: "And to God belong the beautiful names (al-asma'u'l-husna), so call on Him by them" (7:180). The beautiful names are also mentioned in the Qur'an in verses (17:110; 20:8; 59:24).

Bol is our interpretation of the beautiful names...

Thank you maherali bhai.....but dont we already know 99 names of allah[swt] ??

Not to offend anybody but cant we apply logic and recite on those 99 names of allah[swt] rather than flocking the pendol or arena like sheeps who have no knowledge about the most beautiful names of allah[swt] ?

It is voluntary and not compulsory. If one feels he does not need it, he can stick to any of the 99 names. According to our tradition, the word given by our Pir has an added 'baraka' or grace to it through which our Ibadat is empowered. This is a centuries old tradition.

Bol is only for people who deserve it and understand its meaning. For the other one, please stick to the beautiful names of Allah, by all means. There is a lot of benefit in Zikr. But Bandgi is not Zikr.
