Question :D
Ok...So It is my understanding that in the Quran (Written) there is a section on Friday prayer, if a Nizari Ismaili is unable to attend a Jamatkhana on Friday for the group prayer can they go to any muslim mosque to join in the group prayer?

Kung Fu panda bhai, you can go to whichever mosque you want provided you have faith in one god.Good answer Admin,
But remember this EsotericKungFu you can go only Sunny mosque/Masjid for namaz, you can not go Ishanashri or Bohra's masjid
since they have their own Imam which we Ismailis do not consider as our Imam.
They all pray namaz and the verse is taken from the same holy quran so i dont see any problem with that.
The only difference you'll find is they pray to allah[swt] directly or ask from him and we go by channels i.e imam[as]
Would you go Hindu temple?
Shiraz,
I heard that Ishnashris and Bohras recite their Imam's name in Namaz, I am not pretty sure because I never been their mosque yet and I do not have any plan to go in near future, please correct me (Admin and Karim) if I am wrong but I heard that twelver recite their Imam's name in Namaz/prayer.
By the way Sunnies does not believe in Imamat but they definitely believe in Allah, Rasool and Quran, so does we Ismailis, so it is nothing wrong if you go in sunnies mosque.
As long as my concern I would not go their Twelver's and Bohra's mosque, even they do not not recite their Imam's names in their prayer, why? because I do not accept and believe in their Imam's genealogy.
Shiraz,
Let me ask you one question, Would you go any Hindu temple or any Jews mosque? if your answer is no then please give me reason why you would not go there?

Where do you get all these ideas from bhai ?? Sunni = no imam so its good....ishna shari = only few imams so dont go there !!! who told you this ?As long as my concern I would not go their Twelver's and Bohra's mosque, even they do not not recite their Imam's names in their prayer, why? because I do not accept and believe in their Imam's genealogy.
Shiraz,
Do you know in the past during one of the cases our 48th imam was called to justify as to why he celebrated "ashura" [forgive me if i spelled in incorrectly] and kept quran on his head and recited the names of 12 imams of ishna shari madhab.....to which he said musa al kazim [as] was the brother of h.ismail [as] so why should we not respect them ?? They are from the same family i.e cousins !!!!
I still dont see any problem if ninja/kung fu bhai goes and prays in any mosque provided he understand the meaning of dua/salat/namaz
Hope i answered your question !
FROM RELIABLE SOURCES
Shiraz,
I heard this from reliable sources which source I can not say he is wrong or I have doubt about his saying, but.... yes I never went any Shia, Ishanashri or Sunny Masjid or mosque yet and I don't have any plan in near future. JAMAT KHANA IS SUFFICIENT FOR ME. However I do not oppose or stop or say that Ismailis should not go any mosque it is absolutely on any individuals own choice.
As per my thinking, understanding and philosophy Ishanashri's Imams are not our ( if you really Ismaili) Imams, so I personally not accept them as an Ismaili Imams, I sure respect them as a family members of our imams but OF COURSE I DO NOT ACCEPT THEM AS ISMAILI IMAMS AND THEREFORE I WOULD NOT GO THERE WHEREVER AND WHENEVER THEIR IMAM'S NAMES ARE RECITED IN ANY PRAYER, WHETHER IT IS IN SHIA MOSQUE OR ISHANASHARI MOSQUE (SUNNY DOES BELIEVE IN IMAMS THEREFORE THEY NOT RECITE THE NAME OF ANY IMAMS EXCEPT PROPHET MOHAMMAD (S.A.) SO IF I HAVE TO GO I WILL GO IN SUNNY MOSQUE) THIS IS MY PERSONAL THINKING NO PRESSURE ON ANYBODY.
NOW YOU MAY FIGURED OUT THAT WHY I WROTE NOT TO GO ISHNASHRI MOSQUE BUT GO IN SUNNY MOSQUE.. BUT WAIT IF SOME ONE LIKE YOU WANT TO GO THERE ANY HOW THEN BE HONEST WITH YOU I DO NOT HAVE ANY OBJECTION FOR THAT HE/SHE CAN GO HAPPILY.
I think I answered your question very politely and very clearly which will satisfied you and may be others who have same thinking like you.

Also i must say if we join our sunni and shia brothers and sisters for namaz then we should say the ismaili namaz and not their namaz

By the way Sunnat- al- Jamats , Shi'ias, Ismailis or Ishanashris are Muslims so of course Friday's du'a is farz for all of them, now as long as I concern I goes in JK not in mosque for this prayer, now please don't tell me that prayer performed in JK on Friday doesn't count you need to go in mosque [/code]

Sister salima,
If I may speak...sister salat as mentioned in quran is only 3 and five namely....salat Al-Fajr [ morning ] , Al-Wutsa [middle] and Al-Esha [ night ]\
People sometimes get twisted like agakhani bhai when they read surah 20:130 i.e sura TA HA
but if you read that sura carefully sister....there is a stop after night salat ..@ below will clear your doubts sister , insha allah

Thanks for repeating what is already been said @ above given websiteSura TA HA very simple and easy ayats to understand, that much easy that student of grade 1-2 even can understand that; by the way salat quoted 3 times only in quran, the remaining two are for ' TASBIHAT'.
