Nindh kartaa nindh gai re,
nindraae jai saari raat ji 1

Nindh kartaa din vahi gayo re,
to praanni paddeo jam ne haath ji 2

Paacham betthaa baad shaah,
to ghaddh medina chomaar ji 3

Rakhisar taaran saami ji aaveaa,
to dainto no khankaal ji 4

Sukrit hoy to sanchalo re viraa,
to kaanhe karo chho vaar ji 5

Kaal karo to praanni aaj karo re,
to kaal aavse kaal ji 6

Jevaa manchhaa tevaa maanvi,
to praanni ochintaa paddse jaal ji 7

Saami srovar ame vaayelaa,
to saami tam trutthe bhari aas ji 8

Vohorat vohore voralo re,
to kharcho te vir dalaal ji 9

Baahun te aagal aval Shaah re,
to janpudip no sultaan ji 10

Nindh kartaa nindh gai re,
nindraae jai saari raat ji 1


Sleeping, the sleep passes away,
In sleeping, the entire night passes away

Nindh kartaa din vahi gayo re,
to praanni paddeo jam ne haath ji 2


Sleeping (in ignorance), days have passed
As a result the soul falls in the clutches of death (or time)

Paacham betthaa baad shaah,
to ghaddh medina chomaar ji 3


In the western horizons, the King is seated
In a fortress surrounding a large gathering

Rakhisar taaran saami ji aaveaa,
to dainto no khankaal ji 4


The Lord has come to liberate the believers
He is the destroyer of the demons

Sukrit hoy to sanchalo re viraa,
to kaanhe karo chho vaar ji 5


If you are virtuous embark on the search (for truth)
Why do you procrastinate?

Kaal karo to praanni aaj karo re,
to kaal aavse kaal ji 6


What you intend to do tomorrow, do it today
For you will die tomorrow

Jevaa manchhaa tevaa maanvi,
to praanni ochintaa paddse jaal ji 7


The kind/quality of people is determined by the inner desires and motivations
Suddenly a trap (of temptations) will befall

Saami srovar ame vaayelaa,
to saami tam trutthe bhari aas ji 8


Lord you are the Ocean and I am fickle (unstable)
Then Lord if you are pleased all my wishes are fulfilled

Vohorat vohore voralo re,
to kharcho te vir dalaal ji 9


O traders, keep purchasing (valuables)
Then expend (your resources) upon a strong trader (the Guide)

Baahun te aagal aval Shaah re,
to janpudip no sultaan ji 10


In abundance, ahead is the First Lord
Who is the King of Jampdeep (the Sub-continent)

Eji Boleaa Pir Hassan Kabirdin,
to saami gunaah fajal karaavo ji 11


Pir Hasan Kabirdin has spoken
O Lord forgive our sins.

Thank you very much I was having trouble understanding parts of the ginan (especially part seven), but this translation has helped me...
