Post by Muinuddin »

Is there an Ismaili community in New York City or the greater New York area? Thank you for any information.

Manahttan JK is at 15 Waverly Place (between Mercer and Green). The entrance to JK has a small brown awning; the prayer hall is down one flight of stairs. The closest subway trains are the R,W (8th Street) and the 6 (Astor Place).

Manhattan JK: 212-387-8310

Manhattan JK Dua times: Open Friday-Sunday everyweek and Chandraats and special occasions. First Dua is 7:30 Weekdays and 6:30 Weekends

Queens JK Address: 92-68 Queens Blvd. Rego Park, NY

Queens JK Duatime: 8:00 Fridays, 6:30 Weekends, 7:30*
Weekdays (*Weekday Chandraat/Kushiali at 8:00PM)

Queens JK Directions by Subway: Take the R, V or G train to Woodhaven Blvd. The subway exits at the intersection of Woodhaven and Queens Blvd. It is about a five minute walk from the subway station. Walk on Queens Blvd towards the Long Island Expressway, pass under the highway and JK is across the street from a Burger King.

NOTE BY ADMIN

We have removed the names and phone numbers of the Mukhi/Kamadias etc.. as these people do not want to be bothered and have complaint about this. In North America privacy concepts are more important than
being available for Sewa.
