I am thinking what will happen, if price of gas has not been controlled. Because of rise in Crude oil prices, price of everything is going sky high. I feel pain, pain of universal uneasiness, make me disturb and that brought out this poem.
Dragon of poverty
Fruits of wealth generation are not reaching to a grass root level
Elites are in space shuttle; common man has no means to travel
Ghost of poverty is everywhere; threads of humanity to unravel
In developing countries cost of living gone up to suicidal level
It made difficult to survive for common man to a respectable level
Devil of cost of living hitting hard everywhere; creating upheaval
Introduce drastic measures; to bring it to an acceptable level
Otherwise create a chaos; to cover up will not find a towel
Need to take corrective measures with futuristic strategy; novel
Governments help won’t be enough; riches have to pay share equal
Otherwise uncontrolled poverty will be a big cause of upheaval
Agencies have to put aside theory of investment; just invest principle
Difficult time is ahead; prior to that plan wisely to control the devil
Don’t want to suffer due lack of planning; don’t take it business usual
There is enough warning; build bridge before water cross storm level
Signs of reduction in agriculture products; is reach alarming level
Poverty is curse; have to root it out from world map
Riches have to come forward; to fill in the wide gap
Governments alone can’t do it; contemplate; don’t wait
Prior it becomes Dragon of poverty; starts using us as bait!
