This quote is from the maxims of Ali,
The sweetness of pleasure is not worth the bitterness of hardships.

What exactly does this mean?

I'm thinking "Adultery"

"The sweetness of pleasure" = Man or a Women committing adultery while being married. (Cheating)

"is not worth the bitterness of hardships" = The problems it brings to everyone in the family, especially the innocent kids.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

AlyMadad I think there's some confusion.

"is not worth the bitterness of hardships" = The problems it brings to everyone in the family, especially the innocent kids.

He meant, The problem it brings to everyone in the family, especially the innocent kids. OR the problem it brings to everyone in the family including the innocent kids who need the attention of their parents the most at an early age. A healthy relationship between parents is good for the kids growing up.

^Thank you for making it clear.

It's hard to explain people sometimes, they're always making mountains out of molehills.
