A question on Ninda

Post by st0necol »

Hmm....I've a question about ninda. Ok back-biting among those whom we live is really a big sin...but what if we tell someone about the story that one thief robbed a mobile phone of someone & how he did n all...just like it's so common in pakistan now that these stories u hear everywhere...so is it also a big sin to tell such stories? or u just say that ur mob is robbed n then keep quiet? & what about a teacher? If a teacher has done something bad to us, and we tell to other students...is it bad too ?

& for all those who are contributing their time & health in giving so correct infos with references...is great...Thank you..!!

It depends on the intention. If the intention is to protect others from harm than it is not wrong to make others aware of the evil nature, but if the intent is to discredit someone's reputation and cause harm to him/her, then it is very sinful.

There has been discussion on this subject under:

Rites and Ceremonies --> NINDA

You may want to go there as well.
