New book by Ismaili Rhodes Scholar Eboo Patel
Eboo Patel's new book "Acts of Faith" is available. Published by Beacon Press, it is the story of a young Ismaili in search of identity. Patel is a Rhodes Scholar and has a D.Phil from Oxford University. He is the founder of the Interfaith Youth Core, a Chicago based organization that organizes service projects for young people from all faiths. The aim is to create awareness of pluralism and the importance of cooperation among different faiths. <BR><BR>Patel is an important part of Pres Bill Clinton's Global Initiative project, and serves o­n the pluralism/interfaith group along with Queen Rania of Jordan.<BR><BR>Check out his interview with Diane Rehm, a serious talk show host o­n National Public Radio in the US - <A href="http://www.wamu.org/programs/dr/07/07/0 ... </A>.
