I am not sure of how many parents of teens logon to this forum and I am also not sure if this forum is the right place for my this topic but as I can not think or know of any other option I will try from here.
In the recent times, we often hear that the focus of our beloved MHI is on the youth in the USA.
It is also expected that there may be events and programs during the Golden Jubilee year for the youth.
The problems of raising kids and especially during their teen ages due to the influence of the American culture and the laws of the land restraining parents from any disciplinary actions that is acceptable in their contries of origin is perhaps common and well known to the leaders in our jamat.
One possible solution that comes to mind is the creation of 'BOARDING SCHOOLS' where youth and mainly teens be admitted and provided education, discipline, opportunity of growth in the areas of thier interest and there by shield them from the problems mentioned above.
I seek to establish contact with leaders and members in our jamat who may agree to discuss and debate this matter and help me in formulating the project and then to work on establishment of the 'BOARDING SCHOOL(S) FOR ISMAILI YOUTH' in the USA.
