Xaf, Congratulations to you for having made it to (virtually) all the Darbars around the world. What a great post! I hope that one day you can write up a descriptive account of your Darbar experience, and share your joy with millions of Murids around the world. Perhaps, xaf, you can create a blog i...

An impossible wish...
On this last day of the year 2008, on behalf of my family and myself, I humbly bow down at the feet of our beloved Shah Karim Al-hussayni Hazar Imam, and from the bottom of my heart extend to Him my humble and sincere shukranas for making our impossible wish come true... He gave us the ultimate hono...

FOLLOW YOUR HEARTS...
Beautiful, magnificent darbars in Canada and Singapore. Both jamats deserve a pat on their backs. In Darbars, the heart is in-charge. At that time of spiritual awareness and emphasis, the mind with its endless issues has to be controlled and be made to take a back seat to the heart. Mowla's physical...

Deedar in Syria - Miraculous!
Congratulations to all for the wonderful Golden Jubilee celebrations in Syria. How wonderfully happy our beloved Mowla looked. His smiles knew no boundaries, and why not? The Syrian Jamat was so welcoming, friendly and showed clearly what big hearts they have. This is what our Mowla loves to see - s...

I have been misunderstood on the issue. I have no plans to travel to Syria because unfortunately I am not in a situation to do so. I am sure that those Murids who are fortunate enough to be able to travel will do so without concern to the weather conditions. My worry was for the lack of concern tha...

Padhramni Announcement We recognise, and greatly appreciate, the restraint shown by the Jamat in not congregating at venues where Mawlana Hazar Imam was present for official engagements. Shame on whoever has uttered those words! First of all, jamat was kept in the dark about Mowla's programmes and ...

OUTSTANDING PORTUGAL!!
I was indeed very joyous to note the following: 1. Many many people made it to Lisbon (despite the extremely late announcement). It was good to see the sacrifices and troubles that many of my fellow brothers & sisters took to come increase the splendour of Mowla´s Jubilees. 2. Our beloved Mowla ...

Dear Bantu, Beautifully expressed and written. If our Beloved Mowla wishes He will inspire our esteemed leadership to become generous and co-operative towards the jamat. Everything is in our Mowla's hands. Not even a leaf can move without His command. Therefore, let us all fervently pray to our Belo...

Mr. Nagib, I agree 100% with your comments and your emotions, and I salute you for being so frank. I myself was present at the Pan Pacific in Dhaka. Whilst awaiting a glimpse of Mowla, in the lobby, we were warned by Mowla's own personal security team not to wave, clap, or attract Mowla's attention ...

Re: Showing happiness at a darbar...
I am thinking about the darbars I have been to from earlier times... from years ago... when clapping was the norm... I remember one time when the jamat was clapping at Mowla's darbar, but the jamat was doing this every few moments which was causing, I think, an interruption in Mowla's speech... any...

Re: Jampudeep mein Mowla ka jadoo chhagaya
<BR>As for Bangladesh, it was a beautiful celebration as well, small, intimate and very fulfilling. The best thing I liked about Dhaka were the arches set up on the roads with proclamations of "Long live His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan". Also the entire road from the airport t...

CELEBRATING THE IMAM - applause during Didar.
Clap your hands... I want to ask about clapping [applause]. Perhaps some of you knowledgable people out there may shed some light over this. Why is clapping a complete no-no in the darbar? I understand that for chain of office and for firman, we say salwat. That is correct. But when our Beloved Mowl...

Hats off to our Indian Brothers and Sisters for the awesome Golden Jubilee Celebrations in India held from May 12th to 18th. 10000 people lined up the streets outside Hyderabad airport and 15000 people outside Mumbai Sahar airport to welcome our Beloved Mowla. The question is "When Mowla arrives physically at any destination for His Golden Jubilee Padhramnis, how should He be received??"
That is all I am asking. Period.

Mowla'spresentinaphysicalmannersoHemustbelovedlikewise!
Interesting post Xaf - but I don't think its all the physical celebrations that make the Imam truly happy. After all, historically, when murids did get a rare deedar of the Imam it was often low-key (we were in hiding, and in Takiyah most times). Do you mean to say that the Imam was not happy then?...
